It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sam Perry Taylor (Laceys Spring, Alabama), who passed away on October 14, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Denton Taylor and Hattie Lois Higginbotham Taylor; his wife Wynell Sarah Christian Taylor; and his granddaughter Samantha Coyner. He is survived by: his son Gregory Don; his daughter-in-law Karen Taylor; his daughter Pamela Coyner; his grandchildren, Lexus Ratliff (Jordan), Deidra Winkles (Brian) and Andrew Coyner (Stephanie); his great grandchildren, Caitlin Winkles, Jaxton Ratliff, Hattie Ratliff and Emma Ratliff; and his close friend Tempie Greenhaw.
In honor of Billy's memory and in lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Brindlee Mountain Fire Department or to Amedisys Hospice of Decatur.
