He is survived by: his mother Virginia Dawson York; his stepfather Mel York; his significant other Angela Knighten; his son Michael Shane Hickman Jr. (Brianna Bradford); his siblings, Mark Anthony Hickman and Bobbi Tennyson; and his pet Halo. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
