He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jane Leach Cornett; his children, Dustin Prentis Cornett and Holly Kuszniaj (Chris); his sisters, Brenda Hendrix (Lafett), Nancy Walker, Gayla Warren (Charles), Patricia Julian (Stan) and Sheree Black (Glen); and his grandchildren, Levi Cornett, Parker Cornett, Landon Kuszniaj and Noah Kuszniaj.
