It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katie Peace Johnston (Laceys Spring, Alabama), born in Brewton, Alabama, who passed away on April 28, 2023, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, R. B. Peace and Sarah Louise Batts Peace; and her brother George Peace. She is survived by: her husband James "Rocky" Johnston, Jr.; and her aunts, Hazel Grubbs and Alma Batts.
