He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Walters and Elizabeth Walters (Zula); his grandson Luke; and his son-in-law Leland. He is survived by: his children, Nancy Walters Manahan of Nolensville, Tennessee and Dr. David Walters of Erwin, Tennessee; his daughter-in-law Katherine Walters (Mulford); and his close friend Phyllis Ward. He is also survived by five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
