He is survived by: his sons, James D. "Rocky" Johnston Jr. (Renee), Steven Wade Johnston (Donna) and Timothy Eric Johnston (Charlene); and his siblings, David Lee Johnston and Sally Neal (Don). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
