He is survived by: his children, Charles Madewell (Delitha), Daniel Madewell (Stephanie) and Cheryl Madewell; and his siblings, Bobby Madewell, Farley Madewell, Wayne Madewell, James Madewell, Donald Madewell, Betty Whisenant and Shirley Posey. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
