He is survived by: his wife Zelma Jean Terrell; his children, Jeanine Ward Brakefield, Bryan Brooks (Sheila), Loretta (Roger Hayes), Teresa McDonald, Trish Briscoe (Ron Miller) and Rita (Jim Arnold); his cousin Dimple Beddingfield of Huntsville; and also Nellie Brooks. He is also survived by his wife and children Herman is survived by nine grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Brindlee Mountain Chapel Funeral Home (3552 Hwy 231, Laceys Spring, AL 35754). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
