He was predeceased by: his wife Emma Sue Atchley; and his parents, J. P. Atchley and Gladys Atchley. He is survived by: his children, Bama Atchley, Toney Atchley, Timmy Atchley, Tommy Atchley and Terry Atchley; and his brothers, G. W. Atchley, Charles Atchley, Jerry Atchley, Bobby Atchley and Paul Atchley. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren.
