He is survived by: his wife Linda Carol Lee Spencer of Knoxville, AL.; his children, Janet Leigh Shirley (John) of Knoxville, AL, Cheri Kay Reid (Mike) of Brookwood, AL. and James Darrin Spencer (Pam) of Tuscaloosa, AL.; his brothers, JD Spencer, Beverly P. Spencer and Robert C. Spencer; his grandchildren, Brandon Shirley, Alex Guenther (Paul) and Lacee Abston (Chase); and his great grandchildren, Sydnii Jo Shirley, Blake Shirley, Ada Shirley and Gat Abston.
