She was predeceased by: her husband K. Bowden; her sons, Rodger Bowden and Dennis Bowden; her grandsons, Kevin Nobles and Chad Sessions; her parents, Ella Virginia Buxton Murdock and Rufus J. Murdock; her son-in-law Doug Davis; and her siblings, Wilmer Murdock, Robert Murdock, Horace Murdock, Manual Murdock, Jewel Strickland, Ruby Marshall, Evelyn Simmons and Christell Spear.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald Bowden (Karen), Rodney Bowden (Tammy), Betty Davis and Linda Sessions (Freddie); her daughter-in-law Daphnae Bowden; and her grandchildren, Jeffery Bowden, Kasey Burnham, Kelley Gray, Kevin Bowden, Kayla Dees, Cindy Hildreth, Sara Frances Bowden, Kathryn Bowden and Wesley Bowden. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren & 3 great-great grandchildren.
