He was predeceased by: his wife Stella Mae Bludsworth; his daughter Wanda Kelley; and his parents, Elmer E. Bludsworth and Annie Lee Bludsworth. He is survived by: his daughters, Debra Carnley (Larry), Pamela Fearing (Paul), Donna Kendrick (Randy), Teresa Butler, Stephanie Smith (Scott) and Stacey Bess (Randall); his son-in-law Durward Kelley; and his sister Elaine Hataway (James). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Ministry at Ino Baptist Church.
