She was predeceased by: her husband Allen H. Bodiford; her children, Diane Bodiford and Everett Bodiford; her former husband Samuel Gaines; her great great grandchild Holdon; and her sister Bernace Odom.
She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Pridgen (Roger) of Hacoda, Lin Tranter (Bill) of Enon, Ohio and Elaine Edwards of Kinston, AL; her stepdaughter Mary Baggett Griffin (Sawyer) of Monroeville, AL; her half-sisters, Karyle Nelson of Saraland and Sharon Terrell (Jeff) of Theadore, AL; and her grandchildren, Derek Tranter (Stacey), Darrell Tranter (Shannon), April Bennett (Mike), Alaina Puderbaugh (Andy), Gary Parker (Monica) and Blake Edwards (Sharon). She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren.
