He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Lee and Tobitha Lawson Moody; and his sister Jeanette Moody. He is survived by: his wife Janice Regina Moody of Samson, AL; his son Lee Moody (Cheyenne) of Samson, AL; his granddaughter Piper Leigh Moody of Samson, AL; his siblings, Dykes Moody (Betty Sue) of Samson, AL, Mike "Buddy" Moody (Evelyn) of Samson, AL, Jimmy Moody of Skipperville, AL, Marilyn Moody Gullion of Samson, AL and June Moody of Samson, AL; and his close friend Happy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contributions be made in memory of Mickey to his wife, Janice Regina Moody for medical treatment related to her ongoing battle with cancer.
