In loving memory of John B. Parker of Kinston, Alabama, who departed this world on January 30, 2025 at the age of 87. John leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Lou Ann Wallace Parker; his parents, Vivian Amanda Blackstock Parker and William Otho Parker; and his siblings, Joan Pearce, Sharon Rogers, Larry Parker, Sr. and Jerry Parker.
He is survived by: his daughter Missi Tanner; his son-in-law Ken; his sons, Randy Parker (Sheila), Chris Parker (Cathy) and Mark Parker (Teri); his siblings, Teresa Jackson (Toyal), Mike Parker and Jeff Parker (Tammy); and his caregiver Judy Stephens. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren & 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel (1018 Florala Hwy, Opp, AL 36467). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at the New Home Cemetery (457 Co Rd 413, Elba, AL 36323).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Southside Baptist Church of Opp Youth Ministry.
