He was predeceased by: his wife Eliza Kay Courson; his parents, Mary Ellen Danley Courson and Herbert Ezra Courson; and his brother Gerald Courson. He is survived by: his children, Angie Courson Grimes (David), Robert Anthony Courson and Jonathon Herbert Courson; his siblings, Dr. Martha Hall and Tommy Courson (Jan); and his grandchildren, Eric Courson, Madison Courson, Abigale Courson, Sarah Elizabeth Grimes, Maggie Courson and Issah Courson.
