He was predeceased by: his significant other Mary Ellison Bowman; his parents, Walter Bowman and Jerleen Bowman; and his siblings, Jimmy, Billy Bowman and Deborah Early.
He is survived by: his children, Sonya Smitherman (Kenny), Lee Bowman, Laura Bowman and Richard Bowman (Jessica). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
