He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Fay Haynes; his parents, Avous Dees and Milous Haynes; and his sisters, Margaret Powell, Linda Widner and MontaRhe Phillips.
He is survived by: his siblings, Jerry, Shirley Patrick and Donna Ashley; his sons, Allen Haynes (Donna), Greg Haynes (Sonya) and Paul Haynes; his grandchildren, Brett Haynes, Holly Freeman (Jeremy), Anna Haynes, Kara Haynes and Emily Haynes; and his great grandchildren, Maddy Lyvers, Joel Haynes, Colin Haynes, Chandler Freeman and Presley Freeman. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, siblings, and in-laws.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Gardendale Heritage Funeral Home (2214 Decatur Hwy, Gardendale, AL 35071). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 at the Bethel Cemetery.
