It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Covington of Killen, Alabama, born in Florence, Alabama, who passed away on July 29, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilburn LeMay and Esther LeMay; her husband Fred David Covington (Pudgy); and her brother Leon LeMay. She is survived by: her children, Carol Covington, Connie Covington Mask, Sharon Covington Tidwell (Johnny) and David Covington (Tina); her siblings, Oscar LeMay (Mary Ruth) and Patricia LeMay Clements (Mike); her grandchildren, Brett Mask (Michelle), Hannah Mask (Bobby Bozeman), Matthew Tidwell (Rachael), Erin Tidwell, Emma Covington, Maggie Covington and Brody Covington; and her great grandchildren, Rowan and Briggs Mask.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Green Oaks Inn of Florence, Alabama or El Reposo Nursing Facility in Greenhill, Alabama in Ruth's name.
