She was predeceased by: her husband Leon Alexander; her parents, Alton Tays and Myrtle Tays; and her sister Robbie Tays Link. She is survived by: her children, Lanette Alexander Suggs (William C.) and Joel Alexander (Janie); her grandchildren, Natasha Suggs Bryant (Harley), Andrew Alexander, Christoper Suggs and Aaron Alexander (Victoria); her great grandchildren, Blake Alexander, Ava Bryant and Sophia Ogle; and her siblings, Ann Tays Clemmons (Ike), Don Tays (Judy) and Phillip Tays (Sharon). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
