He was predeceased by: his parents, James Dallas Belew and Leona Favors Belew; his former wife Frances Wilodean Liles Belew; and his brothers, Oswald Belew and Amos Belew.
He is survived by: his wife Dean; his children, Gary Belew (Carol) of Chattanooga, TN and Lori Jones (Todd) of Chatsworth, GA; his brother Larry Belew (Sadie) of Huntsville, AL; his grandsons, Christopher Belew and Brandon Whitt (Misty); and his great grandchildren, Whitley Killen and Adilynn Whitt. He is also survived by Several nieces and nephews.
