He was predeceased by: his parents, George Kraft and Louise Agusta Boland McPhail; his son John McPhail; his sister Martha; his brother-in-law Frank Broz; his brother Robert; and his sister-in-law Adrienne McPhail.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Kelley McPhail of Florence, AL; his children, Raymond McPhail, Jr., Phillip Davila (Liz), Margie McPhail, Jacquelyn Sanchez (Roland), Katherine Schuler (Dave), Tamaiera Cheek (Eric) and Kelley McGee (Brandon); and his brothers, Edwin McPhail (Kate), John Michael McPhail (Della) and James Kelley. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 1great-great grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews.
