She was predeceased by: her mother Amelia Mae Brooks; her grandparents, Levi Clifford Brooks, Myrtle Kilburn, Paul Sylvester Vandiver and Betty Louise Stewart; and her aunt Stephanie Vandiver.
She is survived by: her close friend Joe Quinichett; her children, Dylan Oneal Howard, William Levi Howard and Syenya Amunet Melouise Walton; her father William Otis Brooks; and her uncles, Morgan Vandiver and Paul Vandiver (Denise). She is also survived by many other aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Teddy Bear Foundation.
