She was predeceased by: her husband Glen Gist; her children, Michael Gist and Sherry Gist McCorkle; her siblings, Arnold Lanier, Arlee Lanier, Mildred Tidwell, Mary Hughes, Nina Young and Faye Logan; and her parents, Isacc Lanier and Annie Snow Ray Lanier.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Casteel (Mike) and Joey Gist (Janet); her grandchildren, Hope Gist, Magen Gist, Lacy Gallagher (Mike), Tyler Casteel and Craig Keeton; her great grandchild Collins Gallagher; and her sister Barbara Walton (Harold). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
