She was predeceased by: her husband Wayne Spurgeon; her parents, Noel Land and Lurlene Land; and her sister Carolyn Brown. She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Helton (Paul), Daniel Spurgeon and George Spurgeon (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Wesson Williams, Carson Williams, Lake Spurgeon, Katie Spurgeon, Serena Spurgeon, Sebastian Spurgeon, Sven Spurgeon, Sasha Spurgeon and Shepard Spurgeon; and her brothers, John and Leroy Land. She is also survived by 2 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Elkins East Chapel (7435 US-72, Killen, AL 35645). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
