She was predeceased by: her parents, Junior McCartney and Catherine McCartney; and her husband Melvin Nicholas. She is survived by: her daughters, Jody Huggins (Jeff) and Sara Holmes (Brad); her grandchildren, Allen, Katie Huggins, Parker and Paxton Holmes; her sister Janice Ezell (David); her sisters-in-law, Paula Butler (Jim) and Judy Goin; and her pet Princess Leia. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousin, friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Rogersville Funeral Home (18275 US-72, Rogersville, AL 35652). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
