She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Shew and Pauline Shew; and her husband Sidney Day. She is survived by: her children, Michael Day and Susan Rice (Alton); her grandchildren, Gabriel Denham (Melissa) and Nikki Day; her great grandchildren, Henry Nabors and Elijah Denham; her brother Lynn Shew (Lois); and her nieces, Shasta Lumpkin (Cole), Crystal Anderson (Stan), Jessica Webber (Daniel) and Libby Meharg.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hokes Bluff Funeral Home (1901 Piedmont Cutoff, Gadsden, AL 35905). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
