He was predeceased by: his wife Lou Kretzer; his son Phillip Kretzer; and his parents, Fred Kretzer and Edna Caroline Dotson Kretzer. He is survived by: his daughter Charlotte Swinea; his grandchildren, Michael Swinea (Stephaine), Amanda Swinea, Alissa Swinea, Victoria Swinea, Bentley Kretzer, Jordan Kretzer and Matthew Kretzer; and his daughter-in-law Kim Kretzer.
In lieu of flowers, the family request the donations be made to the Florence-Lauderdale Animal Shelter.
