He was predeceased by: his grandson Thomas Reid Darby. He is survived by: his wife Karen; and his daughters, Janie Darby, Leathea Osborn (Tim), Brenda Fitzgerald (John) and Kathy Parriski (Ed).

One of his greatest contributions to others was the 20 plus years he and Karen volunteered to missions thru Hodges ministry.
