He was predeceased by: his parents, James Barringer and Guyula Sledge Barringer; his siblings, Prudence Barringer Thornton and Earnest Barringer; and his son-in-law Patrick Ingrum.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Jean Davis Barringer; his daughters, Beth Ingrum, Jean Ann Tucker (Randall) and Stacy Mason (Eddie); his grandchildren, Amanda Davis (Matthew), Nicole McConnell (Freddie), Daniel Tucker (Bridget), Zach Ingrum (Heather), Ben Ingrum (Cassie), Molly Mason, Hannah Mason and Evan Mason; and his great grandchildren, Freddie McConnell, III, Paige Davis, Ellie Tucker, Mallory McConnell, Clay Davis, Katy Tucker, Carter McConnell, Zachary Ingrum, II, Mitchell Ingrum, Sarah Kate Ingrum, Eli Ingrum, Judd Ingrum and Hazel Ingrum.
