She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Lurid Owens and Connie Elizabeth Dollar Owens; her brothers, Herbert, Lewis, Richard and B. J. Owens; and her grandson Zane Blalock.
She is survived by: her husband Jimmy N. Blalock of Kennedy, Alabama; her sons, Philip Blalock (Christie) of Plano and Keith Blalock (Laurie) of Hawaii; her grandsons, Hunter Blalock, Brian Blalock and Collin Blalock; and her siblings-in-law, Cora Owens, Hazel Trafford, Patricia Burt (Jim) and Gene Blalock. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be sent to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
