It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy McDaniel of Kennedy, Alabama, who passed away on March 12, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Garfield Edmund and Willie B. Rushing Foster; her husband Thurman Joe McDaniel, Sr.; her siblings, Palmer Foster, Newton Foster, Charles Foster, Beatrice Kelly, Edith Mathis and Opal Bohannon; and her son-in-law Steve McAdams.
She is survived by: her children, Jay McDaniel (Carol) of Orlando, Charlotte McAdams of Newnan, Georgia and John McDaniel (Wanda) of Kennedy, Alabama.; her grandchildren, Andrew McDaniel (Vanessa), Stephanie Johnson (Brent), Ian McDaniel, Michael McDaniel (Danielle), Daniel McAdams (Kristen), Jeffrey McAdams, Megan Castleberry (Matt) and Dillon McDaniel (BJ); and her great grandchildren, Eli McDaniel, Hayden, Jaxon Johnson, Kylie, Keegan McAdams, Tori Wilkins (Tyler), Dax, Arwen Castleberry and Matthew McDaniel.
