With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bess Wilkins of Kennedy, Alabama, born in Carrollton, Alabama, who passed away on January 28, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Harold K. Wilkins; her son Frank McCool; her siblings, J. W., Andrew, Rayford, Louis, Hubert Sutton, Lucy Shields, Malynda Sutton and Alice Marlowe; and her parents, John A. Sutton and Vera Strickland Sutton.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Gottschalk (Dan), Karen Holsonback (Mike) and Wade McCool; her daughter-in-law Jana McCool; her sister Frances McDaniel (Thomas); her grandchildren, Shana, Dana, Angela, Tiffany, Kacy, Karoline, Michael, Catherine and Jason; her pet Nikki; and also Lisa Aldridge. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
