He was predeceased by: his daughter Toni Collins; his grandson Justin Morgan; his parents, Lewis Collins Sr and Lomie Taylor Collins; and his siblings, Edward Collins and Emma Collins.
He is survived by: his son Lewis Collins; his wife Amy Collins of DeFuniak Springs; his grandchildren, Lomie, Josh, Levi, Missy, Lewis, Amanda and Megan; and also Michael Collins of Kansas City.
