He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hershel and Ruby Patterson Smith; and his sister Margie Smith Jenkins. He is survived by: his wife Patricia White Smith; his sons, Mike Jenkins (Darla), Joey Smith, Jason Smith (April) and Nicholas Smith (Nicole); his grandchildren, Aaron Jenkins, Zane Whisenant, Zane Miller, Sadie Smith, Landun Smith and Lyric Smith; and his great grandchildren, Grayson Miller and Hudson Smith.
