She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lee Thompson and Obedie Laura West Thompson; and her husband Harold Ray Whisenant. She is survived by: her sons, Timothy Whisenant (Karen) and Michael Whisenant (Meagan); her grandchildren, Julia Marcus (Martin), Erin Whisenant (Kyle), Rachael Whisenant and Kabri Kelhenbrick; and her great grandchild Henry Ray Martin.
