He was predeceased by: his parents, Shelvie Adams and Dorothy Adams; his daughter Charlotte Adams; his grandchild Baby Glen; his siblings, Ann Davis and Fay Bogle (Ronnie); and his former wife Glenda Marie Adams.

He is survived by: his wife Vicky Adams; his children, Peggy Sanders (Devin), Junior Adams (Beth), David W. Harper (June) and Gary Todd; his grandchildren, Shelby (Baby Girl), Ashley (Matthew), Nicholas (Peanut), Ben, Cody (Little Man), Brooklyn, Natalie, Taylor (Dusti), Sabrina, Kaitlen, Elijah and Phillip; his great grandchildren, Nevaeh, Lilly, Jeriana, Raven, Kayden, Zanna, Waylon, Claire, Skye, Rosey and Rainy; and his siblings, Pat Sartian (Arnold), Charles Adams (Diann), Perry and Kenny Adams (Maria). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Children's Hospital of Huntsville in honor of Jerry Adams.
