He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret R. Sorden (Wilcox) and Edward H. Sorden Jr.; and his brother David Harold Sorden. He is survived by: his stepmother Caroline Sorden; his sons, David Boggs (Danielle) and Steven Sorden (Destany); and his siblings, Patty Sorden Beasley, Linda Sorden Ellis (Jim), Dennis Sorden, William Sorden and John Sorden (Billie Sue). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
