He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow King and Charlotte "Beatrice" Pettit King; and his son Richard Elton King. He is survived by: his sons, Ronnie L. King and Clint J. King (Jaclyn Parsons); his siblings, Brenda King Freeman, Charles R. King (Brenda) and Bobby Joe King; his grandchildren, Ian Carter, Tiffany Carter, David King, Dalton King and Marshal King; and his great grandchildren, Brantley Carter, Brystol Carter, Nora Trey King and Stetson King.
