She was predeceased by: her father Todd Smedley; her brother Brandon Moseley; her great-grandparents, James Woodrow "Pop" Smedley and Rubye Smedley; and her stepfather Baxter Ellzey.
She is survived by: her mother Rebecca Ellzey; her husband Joshua Story; her brother Richard Moseley; her grandparents, James Smedley and Bonnie Smedley; her aunt Kathy Walker; her uncles, Mike Smedley and Mark Smedley (Kathy); her sisters-in-law, Ashley Moseley and Shelby Shaw (Ty); and her parents-in-law, Mark and Regina Story. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
In keeping with her loving kind spirit, Lacye asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her memory to a facility, foundation or an organization that looks after the elderly and senior citizens, just as she did.
