It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Edward Phillips Sr. of Jemison, Alabama, born in Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on July 1, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Phillips and Margaret Virginia Bainbridge Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Julie Ann Phillips of Jemison; his sons, William E. Phillips, Jr. (Samantha) of Calera and Daniel C. Phillips (Melissa) of Jemison; his grandchildren, Anabella Phillips of Calera, Liam Phillips of Calera and Skylar Stevens of Jemison; and his siblings, Carol Beecher of Temple City, CA, Patricia Kane of Barstow, CA and Charles Walker (Brenda) of Dobson, NC.
The family request no flowers, but encourages donations be made to the Wounded Warriors Project in Bill's memory.
