With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Samuel Caldwell Vanderslice of Jemison, Alabama, born in Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on June 16, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Vanderslice and Fannie Hall Vanderslice; and his siblings, Charlie Vanderslice, Richard Vanderslice and Frances Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Faye Vanderslice; his daughters, Teresa Bennette (Pat) and Cathy Partridge (Benjie); his grandchildren, Josh Partridge (Laura) and Marybeth Baker (Brandon); his great grandchildren, Kate Lee Partridge, Ruthie Lee Partridge and Sadie Rae Baker; and his siblings, Ruby Birch, Patricia Bunn, JoAnn Vanderslice, Freddy Vanderslice, Eddie Vanderslice and Randy Vanderslice.
