We are sad to announce that on September 21, 2022, at the age of 87, Ruth Kate Parr of Jemison, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Mims and Nora Connell Mims; her husband John Mark Easterling; and her grandson Sean Alexander Mims. She is survived by: her children, Sharon McMinn, Nanett Fricke, Mitzie Hogge (Samuel), Naomi Gillespie (James) and Benny Easterling (Gail); her sister Nancy Jones; and her grandchild Fourteen. She is also survived by Fourteen Great-Grandchildren and Seven Great Great-Grandchildren.
