He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Sylvester Scott and Dorothy Helen Lowe Scott. He is survived by: his wife Beckie Scott of Jemison; his children, Patricia Harrell (Crymes) of White City, Kim Skinner (William) of Jemison, John Scott of Jemison and Patrick Scott (Jill) of Verbena; and his siblings, Derrick Scott (Nancy) of North Carolina, Wade Scott of Clanton and Debbie Martin (Clay) of Clanton. He is also survived by 12 Grandchildren; 2 Great Grandchildren.
