It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mittice G. Posey of Jemison, Alabama, who passed away on January 24, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Golder Gothard and Thelma Melton Gothard; her husband James A. Posey; her sister Kathryn Hopper; and her grandchildren, Melanie Grace Jones and Tommy James Jones.

She is survived by: her children, Peggy Cole, Patsy Leach (David), Pam Pittman (Robert), Stanley Posey and Shelby Posey (Angie). She is also survived by Nine Grandchildren, 13 Great-Grandchildren, One Great-Great Grandchild, and a Host of Nieces and Nephews.
