It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mark Araujo (Jemison, Alabama), who passed away on September 24, 2024, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Araujo and Latha Mae Absher; his sons, James Araujo and Mark Araujo Jr.; his granddaughters, Kaylee Salster and Carlee Araujo; and his siblings, Arthur Araujo, Joey Araujo, Sue Carney and Patsy Lee Reis.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Araujo; his daughters, Shana Araujo and Olivia Kilgore (Kaleb); his grandchildren, BreAnna Araujo, Brooke Araujo, Chloe Araujo, Kylie Salster, Brayleigh Araujo, Kage Kilgore, Isabella Kilgore, Tinley Rhodes, Jax Kilgore, Levi Araujo, Charlee Kilgore, Tristan Rhodes and Teegan Rhodes; and his siblings, David Araujo (Marcia), Tony Araujo, Barbara Renoir (Norman) and Vicki Durst (Steve). He is also survived by great -grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, September 30th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Calvary's Hill (1917 AL-191, Jemison, AL 35085). A burial will be held on Sunday, October 6th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Trinity Episcopal Church (503 2nd Ave S, Clanton, AL 35045).
