With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Johnny Edwin Thacker Sr. of Jemison, Alabama, who passed away on November 10, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Louise Crumpton Thacker; his wife Ellie Thacker; his sister Peggy Bush; and his father John Doyle Thacker. He is survived by: his children, Sherri T. Lackey and Johnny E. Thacker, Jr. (Krystal); and his grandchildren, Teresa D. Lackey, Jessica R. Erwin, Kellie Glaze (Neal), Samantha L. Erwin, Kayla L. Ward, Holley L. Bryant, Tamera L. Thacker, Cameron A. Avery, Jesse Doyle Thacker, Jonathan M. Thacker and Ken Wallace. He is also survived by 12 Great-Granddaughters; 6 Great-Grandsons.
