He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Eugene Lacey, Sr. and Dorothy Smith Lacey; his grandson Duncan Collins; and his son-in-law Jeff Cobb, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Duncan Lacey; his daughters, Amanda Lacey Purkey (Kevin), Anna Lacey Keef (Alex), Robyn Avery Cobb and Angie Avery Mayfield (Shane); his grandchildren, Avery Langley, Cole Langley, Bella Collins, Claire Purkey, Libby Cate Collins and Andrew Purkey; his brother Tim Lacey (Belinda); and his great grandchildren, Nolan Langley, Liam Langley and Jack Langley. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
