He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest "Dick" Peters, Sr. and Harriet Ruby Bean Peters. He is survived by: his wife Jean Peters of Jemison; his children, Dallas Peters of Jemison, Michael Fontainell (Barbara) and Michelle Mihalik (David); his grandsons, Michael Fontainell, Austin Peters and Ben Peters; and his sisters, Marie Reuland of Hoover, Elaine Monroe of Hoover and Doris Coker of Vestavia.
