It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claudy S. Edwards of Jemison, Alabama, who passed away on February 25, 2022, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Curtis Edwards and Mrytle Lee Edwards; his wife Glenda Edwards; and his brothers, James "Junebug" Edwards, Curtis Edwards and Billy Ray Edwards.

He is survived by: his daughters, Yolanda Jones (Johnny), Tracy Teasley (Keith) and Kristie Payne; his grandchildren, Claudia Dawson, Andrea Payne, Megan Jones, Samuel Dawson, Amery Payne and Jesse Jones; his great grandchildren, Colton and Kimber Gregg; and his siblings, Betty Sue Cobern, Diana Henry (Danny), Sherry Chamblee (David), Terri Long (Mike), James "Doe" Edwards (Vickie) and Gary Wayne Edwards (Patricia).
